About ZIVA
Founded in 2006, in bustling Shanghai by British born and long time China resident, David Barr. Involved in the fitness industry for over 11 years, David founded Olympic International Limited (a leading fitness trading company) in 1997 based out of Hong Kong and Shanghai. David and Olympic have been working with some of the worlds leading fitness companies and retailers for over a decade. His drive and passion have pushed far him within the industry, but his forward thinking and vision has led him to developing a brand of his own, Ziva. The Ziva brand is born, and has been developing faster than anyone could have imagined.

Current successes in the home consumer market has led to aspirations to grow. Ziva now enters the commercial side of the industry with a mission statement to sell directly from Shanghai and offer new, innovative, and functional fitness products direct from the source. Already garnering the trust and confidence of major players in the industry, Ziva is now collaborating with quality brands like Technogym (the wolrds leading fitness equipment company). Building ever more momentum, Ziva will be the brand to keep an eye on in the near future.

Manufacturing
Ziva has dedicated factories that we’ve been developing and working with for over the last 10 years (As Olympic Int., Ltd.). The only fitness company offering a factory direct service without agents or trading companies in between. Buying from Ziva is buying directly from the factory.

Warehouse
Ziva has warehouse facilities in Nantong and Shanghai, China. We keep a revolving stock of almost all major items. This means shorter lead times and turn around times for all orders. Plans are being developed for additional warehousing in Europe for the end of 2009.

ZDC
A principle asset of Ziva is the innovation and creative development of Ziva Design Centre (ZDC). Using marketing information supplied by our partners, ZDC is able to greatly reduce the development cycle of a product and generates many cost and time-to-market advantages. Using an in-house design team setup by ZDC, our proximity to our factories and manufacturers involved in prototyping and production of final products allows us to introduce and propel new technologies directly China.

Our team consists of a diverse collection of creatives and technical personal. Graphic and industrial designers from the USA, Australia, and teamed with local developed talent from China work on conceptualizing innovative new products, forms, processes, materials, ergonomics, brand strategies, and market driven designs and packaging. ZDC engineers translate these concepts into finished, quality, long-lasting products using the latest leading edge materials, manufactured cost effectively. The first fruits of the ZDC’s labors are the new Ziva Zvolution (ZVO) Series *patent pending* discs, barbells, dumbbells, and studio accesories. By the end of 2009 Ziva will have a new line of storage racks and benches.

One Wellness Showroom
Technogym and Ziva's state of the art products can be seen in person at the One Wellness fitness club in Shanghai . The 800m2 club is an operational, functioning showroom. One Wellness has become Shanghai 's premier boutique fitness club boasting the best of Technogym and Ziva's equipment. An Evolution in wellness has commenced directly from within Shanghai
